Fried Sweet Potato Chunk with Coconut Sugar Syrup

You probably already know that we are an Indonesian based company. And we specialize in sweet potatoes. What you probably didn't realize is that you can mix Indonesian sweet potato with coconut sugar, to create a sweet sensational dessert/snack/side dish (Koreans and Japanese eat this with rice - We know what comes in your mind right now, but don't say it until you try it).

Often times, sweet potatoes causes this choke on your throat due to it's thick texture, and having it coated in coconut sugar syrup can reduce this displeasure significantly; and it tastes good!

This recipe is really just the basic level only, and you can be creative with this. For instance, you can mix coconut sugar and oligosaccharide syrups, take out coconut sugar and just use the plain white sugar, use maltitol syrup to create hardened coasting, use brown sugar if you don't like the coconut aroma, use stevia instead of sugar... The list can go on further but we will just stop here. All we are trying to say is that it's up to your personal taste on how you improvise this recipe.

For our recipe, we are using Singabera's organic coconut sugar, just because it's the best tasting coconut sugar we have found so far. You can check their products out at www.singabera.co.id.
